What to send

Good clips in.
Great reel out.

Your reel is only as strong as the footage behind it. Five quick rules keep the quality where it belongs.

Our clip review promise

We check every clip before we cut.

Before we touch a single frame, we review every clip you send. If something won't hold up in the final edit, we'll tell you — and give you options — instead of padding your reel with footage that sells your athlete short. Your film is our reputation.

  • 01
    Landscape only

Horizontal video, always. Vertical clips can't be used in a professional reel.

  • 02
    1080p or higher

Most modern phones and cameras shoot this by default — just check your settings.

  • 03
    Trim to the play

Each clip should be roughly the play itself, 5–20 seconds. We handle the fine cuts.

  • 04
    Tell us who to watch

Jersey number and color — so the right athlete is the star of every frame.

  • 05
    Original files only

Upload through our link — never text or email clips. Compression destroys quality.

Why Rally Reel

Clip-to-Reel isn't a side hustle with a free editing app. It's the same editing room, music library, and recruiting format we use for the athletes we film ourselves.

— 01

A recruiting-first editing room

We cut film for college recruiting every week. Your reel follows the same structure coaches expect: best plays first, athlete identified, no filler.

— 02

Licensed music on every reel

Professionally licensed tracks mean your reel won't get muted or flagged on YouTube, Hudl, or social — safe to share everywhere, forever.

— 03

A real review before we edit

Every clip gets checked by a person before the edit starts. Weak footage gets flagged, not buried in your reel. Your athlete's film is our reputation.

Before you upload.

Questions

The most common things families ask before sending their footage.

What kind of footage do I need to send?

Landscape (horizontal) video at 1080p or higher, with each clip trimmed roughly to the play itself. Send original files through our upload link — texted or emailed videos get compressed and lose too much quality to use.

How long does delivery take?

Reel Express and Reel Pro are delivered within 5 business days of receiving your complete footage. Reel Recruit is delivered within 7 business days. The clock starts when your last clip lands, not when you pay.

Do you work with athletes outside Arkansas?

Yes — Clip-to-Reel is fully remote and serves families in all 50 states. You upload, we edit, you download. If you're in Central Arkansas, we can also film your games in person — see our full packages.

Will college coaches accept the recruiting reel format?

Reel Recruit follows the format coaches expect: strongest plays up front, athlete identified on every play, contact and stat information on screen, and a Hudl-ready export you can post to your profile or email directly to a coaching staff.

What if some of my clips aren't good enough?

We review every clip before editing begins. If footage won't hold up, we'll flag it and give you options — work with your strongest clips, send replacements, or apply your payment toward a different tier. We never pad a reel with clips that make your athlete look worse.

Can I request changes after delivery?

Yes — every package includes one round of revisions. Tell us what to swap, reorder, or adjust within 7 days of delivery and we'll turn the update around quickly.

Is the music licensed?

Yes. Every reel is scored with professionally licensed music, so your video is safe to post on YouTube, Hudl, Instagram, and TikTok without copyright strikes or muted audio.
